Hegemann GmbH

Hegemann GmbH I Dredging is a member of the Hegemann Group of Companies, specialising in a full range of dredging works:

  • maintenance and capital dredging
  • beach nourishment, land reclamation, sea dunes, port development
  • mining construction materials, gravel, aggregate and sand using trailing suction hopper dredgers
  • charter of self-propelled split hopper barges and other dredging equipment
  • hopper dredgers suitable for shallow waters

Our operations are concentrated mainly in the coastal waters of the Baltic and North Seas. Since 2009 Hegemann GmbH I Dredging has carried out dredging works for several projects within the Russian Federation in the ports of Kaliningrad, St. Petersburg, Ust-Luga and Arkhangelsk.

Our fleet includes four trailing suction hopper dredgers, two self-propelled split barges, a backhoe dredger and a barge unloader.

A high priority of our company is the intensive technical support of our dredging fleet by our own team of qualified marine engineers to ensure the performance and reliability of our equipment.

A team of qualified and highly experienced civil engineers and marine surveyors manage all stages of a project from calculation and preparation to site management and final approval by the client.

Our company is audited regularly by the DQS GmbH, an independent inspection and certification body. We are certified according to the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and the SCC Safety, Health and Environment Management System. Our Occupational Health and Safety is conducted in accordance with international ISM, ISPS and SOLAS guidelines.

In addition to its headquarters in Bremen, Hegemann GmbH I Dredging also has offices in Leer, Rostock, Winschoten/Netherlands, and Stettin/Poland.
